The problem I see with free form arcs is that the result could end up totally different than what the Arc Master wanted originally, otherwise they could work well.

The goals and outcomes should be as loose as possible.

I never said they had to be, I'm just saying total free-form arcs give the problem I stated before. I mean, if I was an Arc Creator and shit went totally opposite the way I had in mind, why did I bother putting in that much effort in the first place?

That's where we should change the way creators think about their arcs. Don't have an intended end, but rather start things up and just let them go the way they go. That way people can have more fun than just "this is how it's going to end, go post."

I'm not treating them as a chore <_<. I think >_>. And if just a little ittle bit of those fights finished up, I could proceed to phase W.57 and actually proceed to the ending of the arc no wai

And the main problem about that first one. I'd be fine with deviations and whatnot, but everyone seemed to like playing by the book. Granted, I never said you could deviate, but I think at least someone would have tried.

Aaaaaand, I'm not trying to make excuses for the most part. Granted, these problems are still there, it's just that... this arc was made by a fourteen year old, and it's going to remain that way, no matter how much I hammer it up and board up the fallacies. Something covered up so shoddily is going to be seen through. Or fall apart.
