Nasake sighed softly, as she twirled around, light on her feet. She managed to keep up with Kyon's random patterns, but she was taken by suprise when she had predicted he would appear at her right side, and ended up appearing at her left. Her eyes widened slightly, but took notice that when his blade's tip was a mere inch from making contact with her body, he had shifted the sword around so that the blunt part would hit her.
She frowned a little, and grabbed the blade with her bare hand. "Kyon.. why do you hesitate? I can see this is hard for you.. but you musn't render to your emotions. I have already explained this to you.. it seems I have no choice.." She murmured with a voice heavy with grief. Her grip on the blade tightened even more, and soon.. the metal began to crack. As she applied more force, the blade cracked even more, already shaping the many fragments it would become if it were to completely break. It took only a little bit of more pressure, and soon the blade shattered in her hand, scattering into the ground, seeming like small jewels that glittered against the small ray of light that broke through the dark veil of clouds.
Nasake sighed sadly once more, her face contorted with pain and guilt. "Forgive me, Kyon.. but I had to take a drastic turn in order to teach you a valuable lesson. Do not despair.. Your zanpakuto's blade will soon return. But in order to do so, you must master Light Rejuvenation. In order to master Light Rejuvenation, you must first learn to control the light you see me holding in my right hand. Push those emotions aside, Kyon! And face me with no remorse!" She cried, taking a battle stance once more.
