Once again, Pan's attack was ineffective in causing any visible damage. The blade passed through Hades as if he wasn't even there. The spirit then once again went on the offensive in a flurry of lunges and slices using his pitchfork, piercing her defenses every few attacks and lecturing Pan as he did so.
"You can fight me for the next 100 years using every one of your skills for all I care. You'd never be able to touch me. When I said you were weak, I didn't just mean in terms of strength. You're main weakness is on the inside, it's one of attitude. As long you cling to that rotten heart of yours, you will never wield me again. Even after living for centuries, you are utterly incapable of caring for anyone but yourself or growing as a person. I can't stand how you treat your subordinates, family, and so-called 'friends'. It disgusts me far more than other of your deficiencies. With that in mind, it's far more prudent for me to abandon you than wait an eternity for you to figure out how to correct yourself."
