I hate to tell you guys... But Wal-mart bought us out... We now all have to do a Wal-Mart RP...
No no, Now that the stupid joke it out of the way. Site activity is ridiculously low, only a few high points followed by long low points. That has been the current trend. Someone comes up with an idea, we do it, then activity drops. Now people have real lives. I certainly do, and that can explain a number of problems. But this is a Role-Playing Site, so no matter the reasons, we need to have a functional RP.
We the staff have been discussing this topic for a while, and we've came to a number of conclusions on changes that may need to be made.
1) Only Bleach RP till we fix the activity there, the other three RPs shall be shelved.
2) Activity will be a factor for retaining spots. Thus basically if you don't have a good enough reason or inform us of your absence beforehand, You will be forced out of your spot. You will also be removed if you just stop RPing on that account for no good reason. This includes everyone from normal users, to Yuh, to Admins.'
Even if something arc wise isn't happening, RP with someone or do something! Otherwise you may be find someone more active in your spot.
Remember, if you have valid reasons for not posting we'll be as understanding as you allow us, but at a point we will suggest you taking a smaller role in the RP if you simply can't be here that much. This mainly applies to people with Captain level positions. But Group leaders should impose this on their members, becasue their members may cause them to be inactive, and lose the spot. The details are still being worked out, this is just a general explanation.
3) Consolidation of groups, we may shrink things a bit here and there to fix how many active people we have.
4) A more RP centric thing, Removal of Dark Hunters Inc. group and no new groups may be created at this time.
Now, the biggest topic,
The semi-complete reboot of the Bleach Roleplay.
To shake things up, this has been a big topic of discussion. We finally nailed down how it would generally be, if we did it.
Okay, basically, it would be an Alternate Universe of our current cannon.
Several rules to ensure some change ups,
1) Only One Captain Level Character per user, none of their alts may be Captain level as well. Applies to everyone.
2) A restriction on the amount of Alts allowed. Applies to everyone.
3) The rules mentioned before will mostly still apply, especially the activity rule. Applies to everyone.
4) Some higher level positions will be admin invite only. Applies to everyone.
5) The Human world will be significantly changed, group wise.
Now, as far as cannon goes, the reason I called it an AU of our AU, is that you can carry over characters, but just in a slightly different way. Also certain events will remain.
The Hell Arc may remain.
The Takeover of Nebo would remain, and be the backdrop of the starting arc.
Other too I guess...
Now for potential sign ups,
It would be a mix of call it first, and invitation. Either way, if you don't think you can be active, don't take a higher spot. From now on the higher the spot, the more we assume you can do with it. They aren't prizes for being here the longest, they are important spots for RPing, so if you can't RP actively, then it's only responsible to turn it over to those that can. But as I said, we will be understanding to a point as long as you have very valid reasons and a good time frame of returning.
