What is a Custom Title?
A custom title is a title that appears over your group membership on the side of your posts. Example: The Main Man has a Custom Title of Captain and his group membership is to Squad 9, so therefor he is Squad 9 Captain. You can find the Custom Title option in 'Edit' Profile > Forum Options> DIRECTLY above where you edit your signature.
Why can't I change my custom title?
Regular users, IE users not in a division or the Espada, cannot change their custom title, only those in a membergroup may do that. Once you are in a membergroup, the option will appear.
What is the point of a Custom Title?
It allows the rest of us to see your rank to know how high up the ladder you are. It also keeps us, the admins, from having to make fifty different membergroups for something that you users could do yourselves.
What is the correct way to use a Custom Title?
If you are in a Captain position, you put Captain, AND ONLY Captain into the text box, if you are in a Lieutenant position, you put Lieutenant into the text box, and so on down the line. You ONLY put your rank into the text box, your squad is unneeded, as it appears on the line under it in posts.
